Crystallizer (ZLD) in a refuse incineration
Using its extensive expertise in evaporation and crystallization, GEA Messo PT has developed, designed and supplied numerous wastewater concentration plants to power stations and waste incineration plants. In addition to Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) plants for the handling of cooling tower blow down, plants treating and concentrating wastewater from flue-gas-desulphurization have been supplied with success. Reusable/recyclable compounds, like sodium chloride, calcium chloride, and calcium chloride solutions have been recovered in some of these installations.
